The Apple Machine is a video series exploring the relationship between humanity, knowledge, desire, and the illusion of agency.

One work presents a pendulum-like kinetic sculpture: an unceasing machine-like city born from knowledge, endlessly burning nature as it continues to turn. The other features a dice that appears to be actively thrown, yet is ultimately controlled. Together, the works consider how knowledge, once associated with awareness and progress, becomes entangled with desire and consumption, questioning how much agency remains within systems that seem to move continuously forward.
